CamoEyes.com Review

**NOTE: I won these contacts in a giveaway on their page. They were not bought but I was also not paid to write this review! All statements are my honest opinion**

A while ago I stumbled across a page on Facebook called CamoEyes.com. They sell non prescription contacts. My first thought was awesome! Those would be perfect for Halloween!

I liked the page and decided to wait a little while before making a purchase, closer to Halloween.

A short while later I saw they were having a giveaway!(they have A LOT of awesome giveaways! I strongly suggest you go check them out!)
I liked and shared the picture and forgot all about it until I saw my name posted that I was a winner!!! WHOOO! I got to choose whatever contacts I desired and finally settled on a pair of White Mesh contacts.

They arrived VERY fast. and they were well packaged. I ripped open the package and found a pretty little box inside!

I LOVE the packaging! Its so bright and It has the CamoEyes name right on it.

I then opened THAT box. And inside were two vials. One for each lens.

They are glass vials, which makes me even more happy about the protective packaging. lol

I read through the instructions on the paper that was included in the box, and it stated I needed to presoak the contacts in contact solution for at least 2 hours before wear. So I got to it and put them in some solution.

A few days later (I like to live on the safe side...) I was watching Warm Bodies (Obsessed with it lately!! Nicholas Hoult!!! YES PLEASE!) and I decided to try out my zombie makeup skills. A little while later and I was ready for my contacts.

Now I KNOW that you should always put in your contacts BEFORE doing makeup...but judging by the contacts..I could tell I wasnt going to be able to see out of them well, and also...I wear prescription contacts already so I wouldnt have been able to see ANYTHING. So. I put them in after my makeup...The result was, in my opinion, an AWESOME dead eye effect. I wandered slowly (because I was pretty much blind) around my house for about two hours before taking the contacts out.

The lenses did blur my vision. Everything looked a bit foggy (I put my glasses on to make sure it wasn't just my horrible vision making everything foggy.)
But the fogginess is to be expected, the lenses DO cover the pupil after all.

In the end, I would definitely recommend these contacts! and you should DEFINITELY go check out their store HERE! Look at all the pretty contacts!!! Think about how awesome they will look. Think of how jealous your friends will be that you eyes are cooler. lol

EYE CLOSEUP!!! WHOOO!

White Mesh contacts really make smiling look super creepy....O.O

My kitty MOO, being a good sport and letting me use him as a prop.

and one (somewhat) serious pic. lol
