NYC Applelicious

***NOTICE!!! I received this product free from Influenster for review purposes!!! ***

Alright. Now this one is my FAVORITE product that I received in my VoxBox. I am in love with it!!!!

NYC Applelicious balm in the color Big Apple Red. OMG It is gorgeous!

I opened it up and was amazed and the way it smelled! Just like apples! Apples are one of my all time favorite scents so I was, of course, immediately loving it. There is a cute little apple design on the balm itself too:

I swatched it on my hand and it didnt feel sticky and it had a nice peachy pink color. Lighter than I thought it would be.

I then decided to put it on half of my lips to compare it. It went on so smoothly and evenly. It gave my lips a nice pop of color! It isn't sticky or thick feeling. It has a very silky smooth texture.

I love it! The Applelicous balm gets an A+++, two thumbs up and a recommendation from me!!!!

Schwarzkopf Professional OSiS+

***NOTICE!!! I received this product free from Influenster for review purposes!***

Alright, here it is....

OSiS+ Volume Effect Mattifying powder. Its called DUST IT. You can visit their website HERE
Now, upon reading the container the words that made me iffy are Volume, Mattifying, and DUST.

I am more of a sleek, shiny NO dry products allowed kind of girl. I like soft hair...Ill get to all these issues later.

Now, I opened it up and it looks like this:

Now I know that this looks small, but there is A LOT of product in there! I screwed off the cap of the bottle and found this:

Now, if you ask me that looks like A LOT of holes...
It left me wondering how fast it was going to come out and boy was I right. It POURED out of the holes...

The powder is white and scentless. And this is where we reach my first issue. The way this stuff FEELS. I wasn't fond of it. Its gave a cool, wet feel when I rubbed my hands together. Which threw me off because...well...its dry powder. I didn't really like the way it felt though and it made me worry about how my hair was going to feel. So I started.

I started applying the product to my roots and rubbing. My hair started tangling and I was not enjoying the texture at all. But it was creating volume. A bit.

As you can see I wasn't exactly thrilled. I kept going though! And although I didn't like the texture of my hair, it did look pretty cool all messy. I brushed through it and did one final poof.
\
This is the end result (excuse the no makeup...I apply that AFTER I do my hair lol)
So...my grade is a B. It gave volume, as it stated. My hair is still shiny as ever which surprised me...I thought the mattifying powder would have ruined that. I still don't care for the texture but I can live with it.

All in all......I WOULD recommend this product, and in fact. I have. My friend, who runs the page with me, bought some for herself and she loves it! She is a huge fan of the texture and volume, where I am not. So it suited her needs perfectly.

This is the before picture...No product at all.

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure

***NOTICE: I received this product free from Infuenster for review purposes***

Broadway imPress nails!

I got the Over the Moon to review from Influenster and have mixed feelings about them...

They are so easy to put on and I had my nails done in about 10 minutes! So that is a HUGE plus.

The designs...I love. (there are A LOT of designs...you can see them all HERE) are SO cute! BUT! With my lifestyle...working with my hands a lot....they fell off and got ruined pretty quickly.

Also, they are VERY short. I was unable to find a nail long enough to cover my thumb nail without cutting it extremely short....so I skipped that nail.

I love the designs and speed of putting these on way too much to call it off because of that though. So I will definitely keep these in mind when all my nails decide to break off...I have so many polishes that it is quite easy for me to match my thumb nail to the colors on the press on nails, like in the picture above.

I would definitely recommend these for someone who maybe likes keeping their nails very short...

Secret Outlast Clear Gel

***NOTICE: I received this product free from Influenster for review purposes***

Now on to the good part....Secret Outlast Completely Clean deodorant!!!!

Now I want to immediately point out the biggest issue I had with this when I pulled it out of my VoxBox. Its Gel. I don't buy Gel deodorant. Ever. I have had some BAD experiences with it. But I went against everything my brain was screaming at me and tried it anyways. I mean...How bad can it be?

I must say....I was pleasantly surprised. It left no white marks AT ALL on my shirts. I have a LOT of black clothing and that is one of my biggest issues is those white marks!!! They are so annoying!

Back to the deodorant...The smell. Its a good smell with a alcohol tone under it...which overpowers the good smell if you put on too much. I had one day where I very literally smelled like a lush. I learned my lesson and watched how much I put on next time.

The other thing that bothers me a bit is that this has Aluminum in it...It states it right on the front of the roll? bottle? product. Aluminum, as my doctor told me, can make the underarms darken. And I have a problem with that because mine are already dark...The issue is a small one for me though because I rarely wear clothes were my underarms show. But for some it is a HUGE issue so I thought I would let you all know. lol

Other than that, it goes on clear and STAYS that way. Its not glompy...almost reminded me of hand sanitizer....

I would recommend this product for sure. It was great at eliminating odor, and relieving me from those dreaded white marks.

Custom Zombie Tee

I got bored the today and decided to take one of my boyfriends old black shirts and my it into my own shirt. I free handed my design. and then I cut strips up the bottom of the shirt to create tassles! This is what it looks like now! I still need to clean up some of the edges! But other than that...I LOVE IT!

Green Glitter Ombre Nails

I was sitting here the other night and watching reruns of RuPaul's Drag Race....When I noticed one of the ladies had GORGEOUS ombre glitter nails!!! OMG I fell in love! I ran into my bathroom and grabbed my glitter and nail polish and set everything up and got to work. I put down a base coat of black polish and let that dry COMPLETELY. Then layered a lime green polish in a gradient, then dipped the nail, while still wet, into my pot of glitter. I brushed off the extra and pressed the glitter down firmly onto each nail so that nothing was sticking up. Then I took a small brush and sprinkled a little more glitter on to even out the look. I applied three coats of clear top coat. Which sealed it all in nicely. I must say I am in love with these nails! They are so sparkly and I have gotten so many compliments on them since I did them last night!
The pictures below are with and without flash.

I just used basic crafting glitter. I bought it at Michael's for about 5 dollars for a package with about 10 different baggies of different colored glitter. I put the glitter into some empty jars I had saved up to make them easier to use.
