Hi! Please don't take the following as criticism, just a heads up. Just wanted to give you a little warning about facebook giveaways. It's against facebook rules to have the entry method on a giveaway be "liking on facebook." Now, you can require them to like you on facebook to enter, BUT, the actual way you record the entry has to be by some other method (and not leaving a comment on facebook. You could do it by comment by blog, by form, you can even put the form on facebook, but the like or comment on facebook itself can't automatically enter a person. I think they were mostly concerned about people being signed up for giveaways they didn't want to be signed up (like if someone who hadn't heard about the giveaway liked your page). They have closed down facebook pages before for this.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the warning! Im new at all of this and did not realize! I see other pages doing it this way all the time so I figured it was fine. lol I will have to change it for future giveaways. =]
